Jill Mansell’s Don’t Want To Miss A Thing
Chick Lit
Review
My second in the chick-lit genre. Yay! I’ve read that this is her best novel so far, and whilst I haven’t yet read any of her others, I can definitely agree that it is a fantastic novel!
If you have a family, or are expecting a little one, it would also suit you, but to be honest it’s just one of those novels that most will love! Like Love Actually, the movie, for example.
Dexter the high-flier charmer gets hit with a tragedy, and new responsibility of a baby; which compels him to move his adored city and enter a country life. Here, he meets the townspeople, and their quirky personalities and back stories; which is why I think it’s quite like Love Actually. It has a variety of stories going on and when you read it you are rooting for the characters to get together or escape misery.
Truly a wonderful read,
